Curtis Martineau, CPA
Executive Lead — Loan Administration
Curtis Martineau serves as Executive Lead of Loan Administration at Phoenix Capital Solutions, the senior leadership position within the firm’s loan operations and portfolio management function. In this role he holds executive responsibility for the overall health and performance of the loan portfolio, the direction and quality standards of all Senior Loan Administrators, and the scaling of the Loan Administration department as the firm grows. He reports directly to the Senior Executive Director and serves as the primary executive voice for all loan administration matters across the organization.
Curtis brings more than twenty-five years of progressive accounting and finance leadership across public practice, private industry, and fractional controller engagements spanning property management, manufacturing, aerospace, construction, and energy. Most recently he has operated as a fractional controller serving multiple concurrent clients, including Capital Property Ventures, LLC, where he managed accounts payable, performed month-end close processes, conducted account reconciliations, and prepared financial statements for HOA and commercial property portfolios, and Bandy Manufacturing, LLC, where he directed accounting operations including budgeting, financial planning, compliance monitoring, and key performance indicator tracking. His fractional controller work also included an engagement with Aerospace Contacts, LLC, a precision manufacturing company, where he managed forecasting, budgeting, tax compliance, and KPI reporting.
Prior to his fractional practice, Curtis served as Controller at Allied Energy, LLC, where he oversaw customer credit reviews, fuel tax reporting, payroll, accounts payable, collections, and commissions. Before that he served as Controller at BiltRite, Inc. and DMF, LLC for six years, where he implemented company-wide process improvements to increase accountability and efficiency, established job costing and inventory systems to support profitability tracking, transitioned payroll to electronic timekeeping for real-time labor cost visibility, and standardized filing systems across the organization — the kind of hands-on operational accounting leadership that translates directly to the loan administration environment.
The most formative chapter of Curtis’s career came during his nine-year tenure as Controller and Human Resource Manager at Construction Inspection & Testing Co., where he negotiated contracts for 401(k), insurance, and healthcare benefits, reduced aged accounts receivable by seventy percent — recovering $700,000 in past-due invoices — assisted in growing staff from seventy to one hundred fifty employees, migrated manual processes to real-time project management software, and directed two successful accounting software conversions. He began his career in public accounting as a Staff Accountant at Pearce Gray & Co PLC and Gary DeBernardi Accounting, where he prepared tax returns, sales tax filings, payroll reports, HOA audits, and monthly financial statements — building the foundational accounting discipline that has carried through every subsequent role.
Curtis is a licensed Certified Public Accountant through the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University. His technical proficiency spans QuickBooks, advanced Excel, E2 Shop System, Infor Syteline, Caliber, and AppFolio — reflecting the breadth of accounting environments he has operated within across industries.
At Phoenix Capital, Curtis’s combination of CPA-level financial discipline, multi-industry controller experience, and demonstrated ability to build and improve accounting operations from the ground up makes him the right executive to lead the Loan Administration function. His oversight ensures that every loan in the portfolio is administered consistently, every payment cycle is reconciled accurately, and every reporting obligation is met to the standard that sellers, investors, and institutional counterparties expect.
