Alan Delhumeau

Alan Delhumeau serves as Market, Credit, and Business Analyst at Phoenix Capital Solutions, responsible for two distinct but interconnected analytical functions on every deal: a deep-dive assessment of the target business's market position and industry outlook, and a comprehensive review of the creditworthiness of all principals involved in the transaction. His dual-function role ensures that every deal Phoenix Capital processes is evaluated not only on the numbers, but on the business and competitive environment those numbers exist within.

Alan has spent over a decade in progressive financial analysis and advisory roles. He is the founder and Managing Director of DuPont Analytics, LLC, an El Paso-based financial advisory practice through which he delivered strategic finance and FP&A advisory engagements for business owners and executive leadership teams. His client work spanned budgeting and forecasting frameworks, financial model development, performance dashboard design, and consolidated reporting systems. Before founding DuPont Analytics, he served as Senior Financial Analyst in the Treasury function at Helen of Troy, a publicly traded consumer products company, where he prepared and analyzed daily cash position reports, partnered with AP, AR, accounting, and payroll teams on treasury operations, and supported internal control policies across the organization.

His earlier career included roles as Financial Analyst at Integrity Asset Management, where he developed and owned reporting processes for executive leadership overseeing a multifamily real estate portfolio of 50+ properties, and as Portfolio Manager and Credit Analyst at First National 1870 in El Paso. At First National 1870, he performed credit underwriting and financial analysis for borrowers across real estate, healthcare, and consumer sectors, built financial projections and cash flow models to assess repayment capacity and risk exposure, monitored financial covenant compliance, and contributed to credit memoranda and risk assessment documentation supporting underwriting approvals. Alan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a Financial Analysis concentration from the University of Texas at El Paso, earned through the CFA Institute University Recognition Program. He has passed the CFA Level I and Level II examinations, reflecting a rigorous training in investment analysis, financial statement analysis, fixed income, and equity valuation. He also completed the Leadership El Paso program through the El Paso Chamber of Commerce, a year-long executive development program for civic and business leaders.
