Ronel Olver serves as Reporting & Accounting Specialist at Phoenix Capital Solutions, one of the professionals responsible for the financial accounting and reporting functions within the firm’s loan operations and portfolio management department. Her work encompasses the monthly payment waterfall execution, fee calculations, servicer reconciliation, and the preparation of servicing reports for each assigned loan — the accounting infrastructure that ensures every dollar flowing through the Phoenix portfolio is accurately tracked, properly distributed, and transparently reported to sellers and investors.

Ronel brings more than twenty years of accounting, controllership, and financial operations leadership across healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, construction, and commercial real estate. She most recently served as Accounting Manager at A2BHQ, a cloud-based accounting and controller services firm in Chandler, Arizona, where she oversaw day-to-day accounting operations for multiple clients — including revenue recognition, customer invoicing and accounts receivable, expense and accounts payable management, bookkeeping and month-end close, financial reporting, payroll, and consolidated accounting including international subsidiaries. In that role she also performed independent SOX testing and evaluation of internal controls over financial reporting for various companies, communicating findings and recommendations to executive teams and external auditors. The multi-client, remote-operations discipline required in that environment mirrors the structured, multi-loan accounting rigor that the Reporting & Accounting Specialist position at Phoenix Capital demands.

Prior to A2BHQ, Ronel held a series of controllership and executive finance roles. She served as Controller at the Better Business Bureau in Austin, Texas, where she directed all accounting operations including cash flow, payroll, budgets, and financial statement preparation, monitored cash balances and forecasts, investigated budget-to-actual variances, and attended Board meetings as a member of the executive management team. Concurrently she served as a remote controller through Supporting Strategies, providing cloud accounting and controller services to numerous clients, and as contract controller for NeaMatt Logistics, a startup trucking company in Austin, where she directed and performed all accounting functions from general ledger establishment through financial statement creation, payroll administration, and tax return preparation. She also served as Financial Controller and CFO at Texas Mills, LLC, a startup dog food manufacturing company, where she directed accounting operations for the company and its subsidiaries, audited shipping logs — discovering and correcting a five percent billing error — and maintained relationships with management, vendors, employees, and investors.

The most substantial chapter of Ronel’s career was her eleven-year tenure as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Matrix Care, LLC in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she served on the executive management team overseeing all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations. During that period she cultivated strategic alliances with insurance and risk management teams that reduced insurance premiums by forty percent, centralized in-house payroll from ADP — reducing payroll errors to under one percent — oversaw HR, benefit, and payroll functions for four hundred fifty employees and seventy-five independent contractors across multiple locations, pioneered an electronic billing system that reduced payment delays by ten to fifteen days and collection costs by fifteen percent, and successfully renegotiated the company’s credit line terms during the 2008 economic crisis to preserve cash flow for expansion. She also prepared due diligence documentation for the sale of a business unit that closed at $1.2 million. Her earlier experience includes over six years as Financial Controller and Senior Staff Accountant at NeaMatt, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, where she managed financial oversight for client relationships across hospitality, restaurant, construction, manufacturing, and commercial real estate industries.

Ronel holds a Master of Science in Accounting from New England College. Her technical proficiency spans NetSuite, QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Sage 50, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Bill.com, Expensify, and a range of industry-specific ERP and payroll platforms — reflecting the breadth and adaptability of her accounting operations background.
